How to keep your fragrance last longer?

Many of us have experienced this when our fragrances fade away by lunchtime and sometimes even before it. Some people put on extra perfume so that it could last a day but that is the wrong method.  The science here is not of the quantity you apply but the place where you apply it and store it. Here are few quick tips on how to increase the duration of scents for a day.

Keep the box:- Some people opt for keeping the perfume in front of the window where the sunlight flashes on the bottle. This is the point where we go wrong. The liquid when in contact with the sun, degrades the oil and breaks down the fragrance. Hence it should be kept someplace away from the sunlight and in the box in which it came. That way it remains safe and clean as well.

Don’t shake the bottle:- The perfume is designed to stand still and not be used as a champagne bottle. It will only result in the entry of air and decomposition of the liquid reducing the fragrance. Hence the bottle should never be shaken before use.

Carry around cotton buds:- While traveling we already have tones of luggage with us. We don’t feel like adding another heavy perfume bottle. Here we can save space by applying perfume on cotton buds and carrying just the cotton buds which restore their original smell and can be used later for touchups.
