Laminate flooring

This type of compressed fibreboard plank is covered with a photographic image of wood with a protective layer. The price of this flooring starts from 3 dollars per square meter. These are used where they are high traffic area which will require frequent cleanings, such as living rooms, play areas, or dining room. Some of these areas are available in waterproof coats to be used even in the bathrooms and kitchen. These are quite cheap and easy in terms of installation. But, the cons include that the look won’t be that much of a real one, and the laminate gets easily swollen due to moisture.

Engineered Wood Flooring

Each layer consists of three to four layers of wood that has been glued together which creates a plank of about 14mm. It is also available with an easy installation that doesn’t require any adhesive. Prices for these king of wooden flooring are about 19 dollars per square meter in terms of starting range. It can be installed in all the rooms of a residence. No matter how long-lasting it is, it is still avoided in places with more amount of humidity. It creates fuzz in giving a good finish at the corners and edges hence is avoided in staircases.  But it is quite attractive as compared to the laminate flooring.

Solid-flooring:-Each board is made from a single piece of wood round about 18-20mm thick. The fittings include the tongue and groove joint. All types of wood have a hardness score which enables them to easily get damaged. For restoration, you just need to go some sanding at it will look as good as new. Prices may vary, depending on the cost of the raw wood that is being used, starting from 15 dollars.
